Support that feels personal

Start with a team that takes the time to know you

Choosing the right disability support provider is about more than finding someone who can complete a list of tasks. At GUUL Healthcare Services, we take the time to understand your goals, routines, culture, communication preferences and what helps you feel comfortable and in control.

With more than 10 years of experience across nursing, disability support, community services and care, our approach combines practical knowledge with genuine compassion, clear communication and a strong focus on consistency.

Frequently asked questions

Answers to your questions

Here’s some of what participants and families most often ask us. If you can’t find what you need, get in touch and we’ll help directly.

Can I access GUUL’s services while registration is being completed?

Yes. GUUL can currently provide eligible supports to self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants. Participants with NDIA-managed funding will be able to access our services once our registration is approved.

Getting started begins with a conversation. You can contact GUUL Healthcare Services using the form above, give us a call or send us an email and tell us a little about the support you are looking for.

We’ll arrange a time to learn more about you, including your current situation, goals, routines, preferences, communication needs and what you would like your support to help you achieve. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions, learn more about our approach and decide whether GUUL feels like the right fit.

If we’re a suitable match and have availability in your area, we can then discuss the next steps and begin putting supports in place around your individual needs and NDIS plan.

GUUL currently welcomes self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants for eligible supports. Participants with NDIA-managed funding will be able to access applicable services once our NDIS registration is approved.

If you already have an NDIS plan but feel unsure about what it includes, it can be helpful to have your plan available when you first speak with us. We can discuss the types of support you are looking for and whether they align with the services GUUL provides.

Your plan is only one part of the conversation, though. We also want to understand what you would like your everyday life to look like, where you currently need assistance and the goals you would like to work towards.

If you are unsure whether we are suitable for your circumstances, we encourage you to contact GUUL Healthcare Services to discuss your needs before making any decisions.

We’re based in Melbourne and currently service the western suburbs, with broader availability depending on participant needs and staff capacity. Get in touch to check availability in your area.

Support Coordinators, family members, carers and healthcare professionals can submit an enquiry on behalf of a participant through our dedicated NDIS Referrals page.

Where appropriate, we’ll then make contact to discuss the referral further, confirm current availability and learn more about the participant before progressing. We recognise that a referral is about a person, not simply filling an available support shift, so we take the time to consider whether GUUL and our team are an appropriate fit.

Once we receive your enquiry, a member of our team will follow up to learn more about what you are looking for.

Our first conversation is about understanding you rather than immediately fitting you into a particular service. We may ask about your goals, daily routines, current supports, preferences, communication needs, location and the areas of everyday life where you would like assistance.

From there, we can discuss which GUUL services may suit your needs, answer any questions you have and talk through practical details such as availability and how frequently you need support.

If you decide to move forward with us, these conversations help shape support around your individual circumstances. We want the people working with you to understand not only what assistance is required, but how you prefer that assistance to be provided.

As we get to know you, your support can continue to reflect changes in your goals, routines and circumstances. Clear communication is important to us, so we encourage participants, families and other people involved in their supports to speak with us whenever something needs to be discussed or adjusted.
